Can anyone tell me what is the best way and location to store vintage lure "boxes" and keep them from deteriorating?

Make sure to keep cardboard boxes protected from UV light (Use UV filtering glass in your display cases andor avoid fluorescent lights and outside sunlight). Also, keep your house humidity controlled (This will protect your lures as well). For boxes, only high humidity is an issue (Keep it 50% or below), but for lures, humidity CONTROL is crucial, if lures get too dry, then too humid as the seasons change, the swelling and shrinking can pop paint off of even a mint lure. So, many folks in areas of temperature extremes run a dehumidifier in the summer and a humidifier in the winter to keep the humidity stable.
