The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) is a non-profit, educational, international organization founded in 1976. The primary objectives of the NFLCC are to foster an awareness of fishing tackle collecting as a hobby and to assist members in the location, identification, and trading of vintage fishing-related equipment.
Bulletin Board
This bulletin board is provided as a public forum for announcements, messages, questions, chat or almost anything else you can think of related to antique fishing tackle. Inappropriate messages will be deleted. First and Last Name is required from all posters, and we recommend that you put your e-mail address in the message area so that people may contact you.

Also please note that photos need to be smaller than 2MB and less than 1,200 pixels in width.

FYI - Steve Johnson called me today and we discussed the chat room feature that was an option on the old NFLCC site. Upon Steve's request, the previous follow-up posts were removed from this message string. Also, Steve has volunteered to assist us this summer at the NFLCC Nationals. It will be a pleasure to work with him in Springfield, IL. Anybody else interested in assisting us, should contact Dennis Sweeney and Carl Schaum. Also, Phase 2 of the NFLCC website is still in the works and we'll work to expedite it and keep you in the loop under Scott Jedd's direction. |

Great question. Short answer: Not anytime soon. Our team had moved towards a solution that was going to create more work for the Sec/Tres and web editors and was working towards a quick solution to get that area of the website live, online, and accessible. I'm personally to blame for the delay, because I scrapped that plan. Instead, now we're working towards migrating the club membership database away from MS Access to a solution hosted in the cloud that is going to be more secure, scalable, and allow active members to access the member's portion almost immediately upon joining the club. Your login name will be your e-mail address and if you forget your password, you'll be able to perform a password reset yourself and immediately obtain a new login password. |
