The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) is a non-profit, educational, international organization founded in 1976. The primary objectives of the NFLCC are to foster an awareness of fishing tackle collecting as a hobby and to assist members in the location, identification, and trading of vintage fishing-related equipment.

This bulletin board is provided as a public forum for announcements, messages, questions, chat or almost anything else you can think of related to antique fishing tackle. Hi Dan, nice seeing you yesterday at the Milwaukee Sports Show. Your Lure and Scott Jedd's has some similarities to the Gen-Shaw lure lure also from Kankakee, Ill. …… I wonder if ever there was some sort of connection there ? Larr |

Dan, yes its a documented lure circa 1949. Its history is in Lumpkin's Jointed River Minnow book. It's a really nice find, especially in that box. Here's pics of his little brothers... ![]() |

Yes...lure collecting still gives a thrill when you find a lure you've never seen before even when it's monetary value doesn't come close to the high end tackle. I love it! |
