Sorry for double listing...photos didn't seem to load and I've included and email. Hopefully the pic will load. I also have more photos on request.

Keen Kicker for sale, which I know something about, in part through family, but also from online. It looks like there was an article on it in the NFLCC Gazette in 2012 as well which I am trying to track down. I know it was made H.O. Kuehn from Detroit MI who is also known for the Keen Knight wobbler lures. I grew up in Lansing, Michigan and H.O. Kuehn was a distant relative of mine by marriage, contemporary with my great-grandparents, and referred to as Uncle Kuehn (pronounced "Keen"). I grew up with a lot of Keen Knights in family tackle boxes going back to as far as I can remember (early 1970's). I still have over a dozen of those and this Keen Kicker is just something that ended up in my tackle box as a kid and sitting around as a mantle decoration for 40 yrs. I even gave it try when I was maybe 10-yrs old with no luck and it never touched water again. I'm glad I didn't lose it as I was surprised to find out how rare it is. It doesn't really hold much sentimental value and I am looking to sell it, but as a collector (I used to be a Bear recurve bow addict), I'd rather sell to a collector who will appreciate it more than me and I thought NFLCC would be the best place. I did find two estimated values online that surprised me, but then again didn't if it is so rare. Those were from the Frog Lure Collector's Guide (2013) from Whitefish Press and another online estimated value for one in mint condition in 2009. This isn't mint but it functions perfectly - legs spring back nicely - and there are no chips in the paint. It is simply beautiful and I'm sure it would be a great addition to someone's collection. Considering the connection to my family, knowing more about it would be great, and again, it is something I'd prefer to offer up to an appreciative collector. Maybe the Keen Knights too, though they aren't in the best shape. Anyway, I will consider any offer. Thanks...Bill.
