The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) is a non-profit, educational, international organization founded in 1976. The primary objectives of the NFLCC are to foster an awareness of fishing tackle collecting as a hobby and to assist members in the location, identification, and trading of vintage fishing-related equipment.
Bulletin Board
This bulletin board is provided as a public forum for announcements, messages, questions, chat or almost anything else you can think of related to antique fishing tackle. ID’ing my great grandfather’s lures

My grandfather recently passed away and I found his tackle box in the basement. To my surprise there were some very old, primitive lures also in the box that I can only assume were my great grandfather’s, or even older. I found a couple well-known ones, but I have three that both appear the be the oldest and are unmarked. The last one, which I believe to be the oldest, is extremely primitive. Unfortunately, it’s missing an eye. It’s probably wishful thinking, but the nose style looks similar to a lure I encountered in my searches called Kirwan’s “Bad Egg.” Any help would be greatly appreciated.
