New to collecting and stumbled upon this guy. I have looked in several books and wandered the web. Can't pinpoint it. It looks like a Pflueger muskellunge minnow but some details are off for what i had found. Full length 13" the minnow is 6 7/8" -7", Rubber material, metal pectorals. Hard to see but body paint is a gold/yellow, somewhat or may have been reflective color with a green back. Red painted gill markings and red pelvic and anal fins. Its rough I know. Looking for name, a brief history and possible value. I appreciate the help if someone finds the time. Thank you.

I would say that's about 400-500 given the paint loss. Condition is everything in regards to value now. Even a slight loss of condition and drop the price greatly. Search the Lang's Auction archives with Tackle Find for a small fee, should be some in there.

Thank you Tom I greatly appreciate the help. I am unsure of value as well, are there any good books or websites you or anyone could point me towards for value references? Again Tom i appreciate you taking the time to respond and take a look. Thank you.

It's a Pflueger Rubber Muskallonge Minnow. Made from the 1890's to the 1910's. This size and color put it post-1900 I believe. Scarce, but not rare. Rare with mint paint. Yours is a little nicer not having broken tail tips, which most you see do, or a tail crack at the narrow part. Yours would be in the middle value-wise. Nice, but not minty, but not a rough one either.

It is a Pflueger's Rubber Muskallonge Minnow, made by the Enterprise Manufacturing Company. Made from the 1890's (Don't recall the exact first year, I think 1895 or 1896?) and made into the early 1910's. Very scarce in minty condition, not super rare in this condition, but still an early classic. The fact the tail is intact is a bit scarce, one of the tips is usually broken off, or the tail cracked at the narrow spot.
