The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) is a non-profit, educational, international organization founded in 1976. The primary objectives of the NFLCC are to foster an awareness of fishing tackle collecting as a hobby and to assist members in the location, identification, and trading of vintage fishing-related equipment.
Bulletin Board
This bulletin board is provided as a public forum for announcements, messages, questions, chat or almost anything else you can think of related to antique fishing tackle. Inappropriate messages will be deleted. First and Last Name is required from all posters, and we recommend that you put your e-mail address in the message area so that people may contact you.

2018 National Lure Competition The NFLCC will be holding a national lure competition this year at the 2018 National Meet in Lancaster, PA. Any and all NFLCC members are welcome and encouraged to make lures and enter. If you’re not currently a member you may still enter the competition by joining the NFLCC at a $35 charge. There will be four different classes of competition. They will be: Open Class – any type of lure you handmade yourself Musky or Tarpon Class – any handmade lure you made yourself and must be at least 8 inches in length Fish Decoy Class – Any handmade Decoy you made yourself, No hooks. We won’t be able to test to see if it swims correctly or not. Must have a hanger and fins. Open Class II - Any handmade lure whether you made it or not. It can be made by anyone. You must own it as all lures become property of the NFLCC. All Classes – First prize will be $400. Second prize will be $250. Third prize will be $150. Winners will be judged by a combination of member votes and a panel of judges. You do not have to be present to win. If you would like to enter an absentee entry call or email Rusty Jessee at rustyjesseeii@comcast.net or 815 474-4807. No fees to enter. Enter as many lures or decoys as you would like. If you would like to sponsor a class the fee is $1000. Sponsor gets to keep 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Call Rusty Jessee for entry.
