The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) is a non-profit, educational, international organization founded in 1976. The primary objectives of the NFLCC are to foster an awareness of fishing tackle collecting as a hobby and to assist members in the location, identification, and trading of vintage fishing-related equipment.
Bulletin Board
This bulletin board is provided as a public forum for announcements, messages, questions, chat or almost anything else you can think of related to antique fishing tackle. Inappropriate messages will be deleted. First and Last Name is required from all posters, and we recommend that you put your e-mail address in the message area so that people may contact you.

Thanks to a fellow collector for allowing me to add this piece to my collection. Not only a great Shakespeare piece but another one with a woman portrayed, central to the advertisement. Makes 6 in the man cave with women as central to the ad; Weber, H&I, Pflueger, CCBC, Rain-Beau and Shakespeare Based on thoughts and information from member collectors we believe the time period to be 1940 - 41 based on the slogans and 1940 Shakespeare catalog cover graphics. And that time-frame makes sense for another reason in that it lines up with their Pflueger competitor who also had a 1941 publication and poster depicting a lady fishing. Ah to be a kid and walk through the hardware store and see these signs / advertisements. Had to be a very cool experience. Enjoy. NFS
